Fed up! Decisions, decisions.....

If you go hybrid and run it at 200bhp you`ll possibly survive with the smic if your not gunning it everywhere or planning on lots of track time. That said, a fmic would be beneficial, and a must if you want to extract the full potential from the turbo. There are plenty of decent tuners on here as sponsors, email/ring around and get a few prices. I`v used Unit 18 now for around 5 years for all my tuning and maintenance, faultless work with great prices.

Wouldnt quite want it up as far as 200 mate as im only using it as a day to day car, i just enjoy it on the very few unbumpy roads out there lol, not looking to spend loads, i already have an exhaust and panel filter and a map so im just looking into it, dont want to put a kkk back on incase it goes again, Fmic are about 600 bucks arent they? Trying to avoid that bullet lol

In that case maybe a stock 150 turbo? Should see a safe 180-190bhp (with a map tweak), no fmic needed (for your needs anyway), stock clutch will cope with a decent smooth map. Will not cost a fortune but should give you a little more ooompf & reliability.

yer good idea. but if you can afford a new turbo i would just go hybrid as the kkks are a ticking time bomb, that said there a good few on here with maps and 100+k miles on the kkk and going strong. if you decide hybrid though pm speedy_vrs he can hook you up at a very good price with fitting and a new map :)

Cheers for the recomendation, iv been in contact with him and he's been very helpful, im going to see him tomorrow :D

great news. they wont steer you wrong.
