The TDI is nearly 2 grand more?

Once again the obsession with all things diesel means somebody gonna get a bargain

For the record im averaging 43 mpg on my daily commute and previous posts saw an equal figure for my Devon holiday 800 miles!

Can anyone tell me what you are getting for an extra £1900 if you bought the 2008 140 TDI elegance that is also for sale at the same place???

    If fueling up is the issue say you will fill the tank one a month from the saving and she can fill it evey other week. Or just give her a £100pm allowance from the saving. With 4 short trips 20mile

OK now that is seriously, seriously too tempting.

I'd probably get similar money in book value - it would be a straight swap, only it's got 28K more miles on it.
