Picked up SE Connect yesterday really pleased with the colour Steel Grey

Congrats joela. Skoda called me on Thursday and told me my Blackline is in the country now and it can take up to 10 days more. Hopefully, I get it this week...

Finally picked up my Candy White baby yesterday. Needless to say, I couldn't manage to sleep past 3:30 and am up reading the manual looking for MDI and Bluetooth info. :-)

Folks - which would be a better purchase:

1. April 2012 Octavia SE 1.6 TDI. £12,500 with 13,000 miles

2. Pre-reg Nov 2012 Octavia SE Connect 1.6 TDI with delivery miles, £13,995

Is the connect much better than an SE?

Depends it the se was specced up or not, both in std trim the the connect got, Rear parking sensors, metallic paint, maxi-dot. mdi, telephone prep, also 16" alloys,

So the extras would add up to nearly £1500 but it depends if you want them or not, wether the SE has any extras added, and what value you place on 6 months and 13000 miles. Everything else being std (and the colour ok) I would go for the connect , try a cheeky offer £13,500 or get first service thrown in.

Try and negotiate a deal on the SE Connect; play your cards right you could have that for 13.5k with mats and maybe some servicing.

Yes the SE connect is better; has a number of nice extras that I personally would miss if I plumped for the SE, bigger wheels, bluetooth, maxidot, MDI and parking sensors.

Thanks to you both
