Hi, we are considering getting a towbar mounted bike carrier to fit our Roomster to carry three bikes. The allowable nose weight of the Roomster is low at 50kg but is fortunately enough for carrying our three bikes and the carrier.

After a bit of research i found the Atera STRADA DL from here:

It isn't cheap but it should allow us to still access the boot and let the dog out. Does anyone on here have any specific experience of using this rack with a Roomster? many thanks.

Not on a Roomster but been on the back of our Octy without issue for 2 years or so now.

Thanks for the feedback ACSC. I have ordered the Atera STRADA DL and got a discount from Roofbox (using the UKCampsite discount), so that helped soften the blow of the price. Just waiting for delivery of our new Roomster Scout to stick this on and then we will be in business
