What are these turbos worth as a friend off mine has been offered a 2nd hand turbo for £150 to fit to his fabia sdi for the 130 conversion is that about the right price or takeing the pi*s?

They go for 80-170 Depending on mileage and condition.

Sdi isnt a pd so dont see how fitting a 130 turbo would work will the manifold fit the head??.. maybe a 110 or 90 turbo off an early mk4 golf etc.. dont no if the internals are strong enough tho..

I bought a KKK PD130 turbo for £150 with 60k on it from a guy on here.

Assuming that turbo hasn't already done a million miles that seems a fair price.

I'm with Matt though given the SDI is a non-turbo engine it's probably not a simple upgrade (like putting a PD150 turbo in place of a PD130 on a VRS)

I'd say it's a waste of time with the gearing of the SDI in any case.

So you'd probably need a different gearbox etc as well.

Yup. And if you want a sleeper car then remove the TDI badges and stick SDI ones on. lol
