Very good condition but obviously used. Taken off a 1.9 tdi mk1 Octavia (1U).

No they won't. The vRS has different struts compared to all others Octavias.

So long as they are rated for the octavia as in 1000/1020kg front 1070kg rear then yes they will be fine for the octavia mk 1 all varients.

vRS struts go on all octavias but other octavias wont go on the vrs due to the arb mount. These have that mount position so yes they will fit.

Weathee the weights are right is another thing.

According to Weitec who I have just phoned (0870 990 7536) YES they will fit any 2WD Octavia (1U) and any mk4 golf chasis (1J).

You might want to phone Weitec and tell them the products they sell to fit a mk1 Octavia, including the vRS dont fit. I'm sure they will offer you a refund if you buy them new and they DONT fit.

Thats pretty much exactley what Weitec have confirmed. Apart from the weights they told me 1020kg front and rear. Thanks for the reply.

yea mate iirc the new versions have the yellow springs now and they are weighted differently.

thats fine, they are the same specs as the ones I had on mine and they were top notch for the price.

Not a problem, TBH I thought you had bought some and they didnt fit, lol.

They were taken off a mk1 Octavia tdi but will fit any Octy.

For sale on here for a week or two until I put them on other forumns and ebay.
