When we talk about fitting the 'seat sport' intercooler to our fabias, which seat sport do we mean and is it a particular year??

No (yes the intercooler is the same,not the pipework tho), theres a group buy atm on a cheaper better fitting one?

correct, they are both identical. (providing the 1.8t is the same shape Ibiza, not the older one)
