Couple of Pics, Superb Scout?....

Featured Replies

Dunno if these are of interest to anyone but I spotted this on the forecort of the local Skoda Dealer whilst I was in Kristiansund, Norway. Thought I'd share. Certainly not seen one in the UK so far.

No scout badges or anything like that, reading about is it just an elegance with a body pack then?

Mark.

Looks nice. Not sure if they would bring it to the UK as its so similar to the Octy Scout and they would also run the risk of stealing sales off the upcoming Passat Alltrack.

For me, it doesn't offer much more than the standard 4x4 Superb other than some increased ride height. If you were going to be going across fields etc regularly then a 'proper' off roader would probably be more suitable.

At the moment there is no Octavia Scout, so they've got nothing to lose.

If you spend a bit of time on gravel, snow and ice this package makes perfect sense.

It's the new 'Outdoor' model that Skoda launched earlier this year. However it's not appeared in a UK brochure yet so maybe it's not coming to these shores.

At the moment there is no Octavia Scout

Have they stopped selling it then?

Yes, production of the Octavia Scout (and other models/engines) have stopped to free up production capacity for the Octavia MkIII.

Just a quick update on this.....Walked past a couple of days ago and it is still on the forecourt but now has a price on it.

A snip at £61k. Norway still amazes me.

Seems there is still no pricing and availability info for UK. Official pic here...
