It looks like a downpipe to me (no expert so welcome any correction) with exhaust manifold flange and two Lambda (they both Lambda?) sensors one before and one after that bulge. Sport cats I saw were usually larger, Milted exhaust is a good example?

Yeah that is the CAT. That will be located right behind the radiator though out of site from underneath the car.

A couple of new additions from yesterday and today...

Yesterday I had fitted a set of KW V3 coilovers. Already the car feels substantially better. Pics to come...Wet here and cant get outside today for pics.

Today a little parcel turned up. I wont get it mounted or such as I go away for 4 weeks so it will have to wait until I am back.

One more question :). How much of difference did you notice after you changed to those light weight rims?

The price converted to GBP makes it around the 800 for the IQ3 dash and OBDII Interface. That is only the converted price though so not sure what you would pay from a dealer in the UK.

I will be mounting it in front of the original dash. I have a new dash surround coming that I will use to mount/modify so the whole dash can clip in/out. That way I can run the original or the option. Main use is track days and I will be running the car in the Targa Tas Tarmac Rally early next year. It will just make it easier with the shift lights, large gear number etc...plus the bling factor :giggle:

With the rims tbh...I only drove the car for 20km on the originals to where I had the OZ fitted. So I have no direct comparison from std to options. The std wheel/tyre combo then went straight onto the wife's Monte.

Nice thread here, and similar to what I have planned. Although I won't be able to do it all straight away like you have. I do plan to keep my car legal though, which makes things hard here in NSW.

A few questions...

What state are you in?

With the springs etc what is the min ground clearance you have now? (NSW rules are 100mm)

Any of this work void your warranty?

Have you fitted this stuff yourself or got someone else to?

Ballpark figure for the exhaust, tune, inter cooler, arms and springs? (fitted?)

Did you swap the black grill surround from the Monte?

Have APR found an intake solution for these yet? Given the battery is up front... smaller battery, or repositioning the battery?

Would love to hear what that exhaust sounds like. To your knowledge does anyone have a video online?

Oh... any concerns with doing the ECU tune so quickly, rather than waiting until the car has more k's on it?

That should be enough harassment for now :p

Hey Bud...sorry been away a while from the forums due to work and the whole moving interstate deal etc etc...I am now in the ACT so not to far from you...I will get some info together on the cost etc and post it here and or PM you with the info.

Rally did not go well?

All the mods on this car were removed about a year ago and sold on a local forum to 'belegur' I believe. Since then I have heard nothing. 

Aaa, warranty claim then :D
