Tyres warm on outside edge/sidewall on drivers side?

Featured Replies

drove to sunny Pembroke Dock today and on arrival checked the tyres and alloys for heat just to be sure things are good. However the passenger side was OK but the Drivers side tyres were much warmer BUT only on the outside of the tread and sidewall? the inner edge and sidewall were much cooler?

Any Ideas folks?

Was that the side with the sun on it?

realigment is the only option.

Have you checked the tyre pressures recently?

Where you checking the tyres and alloys for the heat because you suspect you might have a stick caliper or something?

Either a dragging caliper or the tyre pressure may be low.

Has it got any strange wear patterns?

Or maybe the driver is a real porker and was one-up? ;)

Tires are at 37 all round and it's just a habit drilled into me by my dad many moons ago, has saved me some big bills in the past too :D

I am going to have to get my subframe swap done as I don't want to pay for alignment twice
