Octavia VRS at Edition

Featured Replies

Well after years of wanting a VAG car I recently settled on an Octavia VRS. I have made a few changes already with loads more to follow but in the meantime here's a wee peak! post-93543-13469685293649_thumb.jpgpost-93543-13469685642824_thumb.jpgpost-93543-1346968604279_thumb.jpg

Looks interesting, tell us a hit about the car (wheels, suspension, etc)

I got the car a couple of months ago and will be using it as a demo car for my business. The bodywork initially had a few areas for concern but I have had some paintwork done and despite needing a few wee other bits done I am happy with it just now.

Bodywork wise I have removed all rear badges and have had Skoda badge smoothed. I have colour coded the grille surround and painted the fog surrounds and mirror caps in a black metallic paint.

The wheels are 3SDM 0.01 in 19's with 8.5 on front and 9.5 on rear.

The suspension is by KW and is the Variant 2 in stainless steel.

More to follow - ;)

Looks wicked mate.... Love the wide rear rims :)

Those wheels look well nice, very clean cut!!:D

this is sexy as fkuc!!

I am looking to get a set of 0.01's for my Octy and the pics have helped. I think they 'poke' a bit much for me at the rear. What tyres are you running on the rear?

Don't get me wrong, it looks amazing, but I use the car for family stuff too as well as being five up sometimes so may need to stick to 8.5's all round :(

The tyres are 215/35x19 on front and 225/35x19 on rears. The wheels are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear but I have no real issues with rubbing. The car is wearing KW Variant 2's on lowest stiffest setting so not really letting it move but I too have children and took my wife, 2 kids and father in law to Belfast on ferry last weekend and didn't have any issues getting on or off ferry. But the 8.5 on rear would allow a bit of tuck if necessary...... As would 215 tyres rather than 225

Toying with the idea of some 3SDMs for mine too. Satin black in 18" but coilies I think are needed first.

Looks awesome though - might have to debadge the arse end of mine too - looks super clean.
