Has anyone fitted the milltek turbo back exhaust system with the decat downpipe to a Fabia vRS 1.4 tsi?

I think pitbull has one but with a sports cat in place, seen a video of a rocco with a full milltek decat and it sounded great

Indeed I do have the cat version. There's no real gain to the decat dude it gained about 2bhp over the race cat version.

I would imagine the de-cat version also sounds niiice. My cat-back sounds ace, would defo get the turbo back jobbie if I could be bothered with a stage2 map!

You could get custom made for that price. Yes milltek is gd but they still a hell of a price tag on becuase they like 'being the first' to release the system. A few guys have another make cant remember name thou

Supersprint system come in 3 section sold separately! If you were to go for a race cat that's cones in a 1k alone, scandalous!

Jetex aren't that much cheaper than milltek.

The thing with the supersprint aswell is that Asus to the cat location it will barely reach temp to be effective so is kind of pointless.

Load of crap then haha, does the milltek glow orange when the cars been thrashed I've seen a few videos about with a few glowing because of the heat

Yea it is just hope the build quality makes it wortbh the pennies. I've had the exhaust housing glowing but not the actual milltek part.

What surprised me about the miltek downpipe is how long it is. It goes nearly to the back of the car and removes silencers. Very notable change in exhaust note. Perfect I think.

FWIW I gained 0hp over the OEM decat.

So a 2.25 decat flows the same as a 2.75 sports cat in terms of peak power. What about spool time??

is it worth heatwrapping the downpipe?

I'm guna be soon when I strip the engine down for a few more goodies. Will certainly help with engine bay temps.

Winters coming up so I'm planning on fitting it without the heatwrap as it'll only need replacing in about 6 months time anyway, which the Motorsport garage near me agreed with me on

Sounds like you got a down-pipe and 'middle-section' ?! My Milltek catback is actually fitted from just behind the front silencer (and retains it). Wouldn't mind the front box being gone, was abit peeved that the fitment point wasn't actually "cat-back" as described. Wonder if Milltek would sell just the length of pipe to replace the front box but keep the original cat and downpipe section so that no map needed?

Identical mate. There is slightly more torque in the midrange now, but that could be the OKADAs that are responsible for that.

Thats £600 for maybe 5-10 lbft in the midrange. Not really worth it, although with where i am, i guess every little helps.
