Hello,

Just joined the Forums after spending substantial amount of time reading through various threads. Great place to get some interesting info!

I currently own 52 reg VW Lupo 1.4TDi and BMW 520d (163). Beemer stays as a family car and Lupo goes (I am finding it really hard to depart with it!) and to be replaced with All Black Fabia vRS!

Lupo had some minor mods on it i.e. lowered suspension and performance K&N air filter. Weighing in at 1000kg and with RR'ed power confirmed at 82 bhp it is still a fabulous car to drive. With lowered susp it is extremely "chuckeable" and can give hard time to much "bigger " cars lol. I am hoping for my vRS to fill in its shoes and more. Just checked built week today, still showing week 43 - can't wait!

I am thinking about treating Furbie to the best air filter and some good turbo back system with 100 CPSI and 3" piping and perhaps a re-map. The usual problems with passing it be The Finance Minister would have to be overcome first ( smirk ) but I am of high hopes as beemer re-map was recently approved!

Anyways, enough rambling, time to start the weekend !

Hello there and welcome along

Thanks for the Welcome Alkip:)

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hello Jabo - that's a bit of scary photo!

Never had one, but I've always had a hankering for a Lupo. Wonder if my missus would notice if I swapped her Golf

Hiya Gaz!

I just had a short haircut today and missus says I am even scarier now lol

Lupo is a fantastic ride, it will be sorely missed I can assure you! I drove great many cars, racing cars, single seaters, karts and Lupo is the closest in driving fun to a go-kart. I really lament the fact that I didn't remap it...

Thanks for the welcome!
