My vRS has just failed its MOT on the dreaded console bushes, AGAIN ! Can you please advise me of the part numbers for the OE item and the Cupra uprated ones ? I just spoke to Skoda and they say they supply the 6LL407183 as standard, which is supposedly the Cupra item. Have they stopped using the dodgy old ones and only supply these, or was I talking to an idiot ?

Talking to an idiot I'd imagine. Being a skoda dealer he probably won't be too clued up, try a SEAT dealer or TPS mate.

They have revised the old standard bush to a better constructed version but it's not totally solid as the cupra one is.

Unsure on p/n though sorry

Thanks, same part no. as Skoda dealer used. Have them on order but am calling the local Seat dealer to see if they have them in stock.
