Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing a brand-new Fabia VRS.

The spec I'm after comes to about £17,500 (Race Blue with Climatronic). Are dealers offering discounts at the moment? It doesn't look like the VAT-off deal applies to VRS's at the moment.

Otherwise it's 2nd hand for me!

0% VAT does apply to VRS, that's the only reason I could go new when ordering mine, the offer is on until end of September I think.

Yeah ditto. Ordered my Octavia vRS 2 weeks ago and got nearly £4k off with the 0% VAT offer.

This is tremendous news! I'll be popping in to the dealership on my way home!

Confirmed at the dealership, the no-VAT offer still stands! The salesman said that they didn't know when the offer would end but he wouldn't be surprised if it was the end of the month (surprise surprise!).

Either way, test drive on Thursday!

If no vat offer ends on 30/09/12 there will be a new one on 01/10/12 just like the last September.

The Skoda Website has,for some reason, not been updated.The offer,which is said to end on 30 September,does include the Fabia vRS, I can assure you.I've ordered one myself.

Yeah I've noticed a few pieces of dated info on the Skoda website/literature.

I was pleasantly surprised to find "Steel Grey Metallic" as a colour option, definitely my colour of choice - Hopefully this is stil available!

Anyone know what the current lead time is like for these?

I bought mine vat free in July and if you are flexible about spec then you may well find the car you want already in the UK , mine had just arrived destined for another dealers stock , i had it in just over a week from order!!

The options i would have liked ie mudflaps , sunglasses holder, storage bins under the seats and lowering springs i have all added myself

Cool, I'm not looking for too much out of the ordinary when it comes to spec: Climate, Heated Seats, Front Armrest & Mats...

Having said that I've NEVER seen one in Steel Grey anywhere!

Are the lowering springs on the options list or from the aftermarket brochure?

Didnt think Steel Grey was a VRS colour on the Fabia

Weird I could have sworn there was a member on here with a steel grey vRS...but looking at the Skoda website Grey isn't an option

i would have liked 'Steel Grey Metallic' if Available, but it was not.

(Getting a Black one & a Wrap is always an option)

Choice i was offered was White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Black Magic Pearl, or the Silver

It's about 3 months+ unfortunately,if you go for most of the options as I've done.

Mine ordered Aug 1st,delivery not expected until November,sadly.
