Vrs exhaust on normal hatchback

Featured Replies

Has anybody done this?

It seems you can pick up the back box and tips for the VRS reasonably cheap, and they do look nice. I have a 1.9tdi 100bhp so presumably the figments are identical - its just a matter of making it fit with the standard bumper.

If anybody has done it pictures of how you adjusted your bumper are appreciated!

buy a vrs rear bumper. looks better and no chopping.

That would be the ideal solution, obviously. But I am not convinced they made one in my shade of blue (will have to work out the paint code to check this) and I can't really justify the money just for a nicer exhaust tip!

Paint a vrs bumper your colour? Put the effort in and it'll look good :)

Well okay - do lets presume I buy a VRS rear (and front) bumpers - how much might I expect it to cost to have them sprayed?

I paid 140 a bumper to get mine painted, it will depend on the painters, I used the folk who do the insurance work for BMW and I checked their previous work before giving them my custom. And they were top notch, updating me everyday and even opening on a Saturday so I could collect them.

isn't the paint code on the boot sticker?

What boot sticker? I had a quick look yesterday but couldn't see anything obvious...

Normally at the side of or inside the spare wheel well

Thank you! Most of the stick had faded, but I could just make out 9460 - Blue Magic Pearl

To be honest I have not seen many Fabia's in this colour - but I may be wrong!
