Plastidip front grille

Featured Replies

I've done the front grille, ok admittedly I could have done it better as it does seem to go on quite thick so you have to have better patience, I got a bit impatient on layer 3 and it went on a bit too orange peely but still not bad.

I had a slight experiment with very light sanding - conclusion don't! If you aren't happy with how its gone on best to rub it off and start again.

I still have loads left in my can and don't reckon it lasts forever so I will do it a bit more patiently next time and try and lay it on in about 5+ layers. Next year I reckon.

Still well happy with the result as it does suite so much better than the chrome, particularly with the black panels in the bumper

Haven't got pics up yet, they are on my phone

Well done for whoever suggested this, I am much happier with the car with this simple mod !

Can't wait for the pics :) is it a matt or gloss finish?

Done mine last week but bought a new one today at a good price so mine will be up for sale.... The outside is silver and the chrome bit is black with a pasty boy badge :)
