Rear Bumper Protector - What Glue to Use? Help......

Featured Replies

Hi, have purchased a Skoda rear bumper protective strip for the bumper lip, the plastic type with the small ridges.

Reading the instructions it seems like i need to apply some glue to the strip, (it also has double sided tape pre-fitted).

The instructions specify "Terostat binding agent MS 930 - order No. HHA 381 015".

Does anyone have experience of sticking these on and/or know what this glue is and is it readily available or are their alternatives?

I am looking to fit it to a Scout Rear Bumper. thanks

Hi, i put one of these on my Scout back in "08", only stuck it on with pre fitted tape, it's still there no prob's. Just make sure bumper is clean and warm when you stick it on, i warmed the bumper and strip with hair drier. Mark up with tape where you want it, you may only get one shot. B)

I fitted one to my Octavia Scout rear bumper and just used the adhesive tape supplied with it.

There was a moist wipe included that is used to clean the surface before applying.

Mine has been on for years with no issues.

ive had one fitted on my roomy with the exhust tip and had it painted in black to mach the car looks good i think sum times they used

window black seal which holds realy good its just sets the back off i think good look with yours
