I have ordered my new superb L&K and I now just await the phone call. My 3 series lease runs out in Dec so hopefully it won't take too long.

But I have a concern I will pick up the car in the UK but then bring it straight back to Berlin where I work. When I originally brought out my Octavia L&K out it was just a quick trip to the dealer to get the lights pointing in the 'wrong' direction but there are conflicting reports as to the procedure with the lights on the Superb

On mine (Elegance made in April 2012), you can select 'travel mode' from the Maxi dot and the lights change to the European beam pattern. I would imagine its the same on your L&K.

Yes, dead easy. Select travel mode from the maxidot. However, this is insufficient should you be intending to register the car in Germany and in this case the car will need to have the RHD lights replaced with LHD and the car coded appropriately for permanent use abroad.

Travel mode flat beams the headlights, and completely disables AFS.
