as you may or not be able to tell its under the front bumper, to the front of the drivers side front wheel.

I'm not sure, but it looks like a pulley, sans belt.

If that is a pulley, then the engine mount has worked loose.

Does it rotate if you run the engine?

Have you had a cambelt change recently?

Boost pipe connection?. . .could explain the oil around it. . .

Its the lower boost pipe connection to the intercooler (side mount). Very common and nothing to worry about. Typical crappy seals on the standard setup.

You might want to give it a clean up and check for leaks actually, that is quite oily on second look.

Oh that's good! Pulley would be bad! :D

Ok nosmokenopoke I'll do that. If its leaking it would cause?...

Boost leak - possible down on power. Itll boost a lot cleaner with no leaks. Youll probably be fine, but its best to be safe :)

Ok great, thnks again for your help

Its supposed to weep slightly to let oil out.

Saw this today on the ramp. Mine is quite well lubricated :-)

I remember seeing this for the first time, as only had the car 5 days thought something was wrong LOL
