Hi wondering if I am loosing it but think the front seat back has collapsed , feels like there is no support at the back of seat and with the lumbar in the seat is really unsupported. I'm heading back to the dealers tomorrow car is 1 month old . Anyone else experienced this issue and what was the symptoms ?

Mines 18 months old and I'm getting the same problem, I'm going to take into the dealers to get it checked also. It appears to be getting worse, when I got the car I had no issues.

It appears to be a common theme, I drive my wives car and have no issues, as soon as I get in the superb my lower back aches. As soon as I'm out no more back issues, have adjusted the seat so many times with no luck.

Thks for the,reply , I had been having back problems too , seating in the,passengers seat feels perfect , have you any idea of how a dealer could confirm the seat is faulty ?

Have no idea, there have been some threads on here about the same issues, search the forum and you will see more info.

i must say i have the same problem ! Im in my 3 superb mark II and first time with this problem !

Visited main dealer today agrees that there is an issue with the seat , service visit booked to investigate further , one scary comment was made that if parts changed it could happen again , hopefully not after another month

I still find my drivers seat very uncomfortable but its the seat base rather than the back. I have wondered if the base itself has collapsed slightly because it used ot be fine and its only in the last 2-3,000 miles that its become so very uncomfortable.

I have electric leather seat. The seat seems to function OK, however it pushes me hard to my lower back and I cant change that. Ordered to service for 30k and told them I am really dissapointed about the seat. In fact the rest of the car is pretty good, but if your back hurts, its not any joy to drive the car.
