Calling People will coilovers

Featured Replies

Morning all,

I have purchased a set of KW V1 basic coilovers for my vrs.

I dont know which type of top mount I would need. On VW Spares, they list top mounts for standard suspension, and then sports suspension.

Standard - http://www.vwspares....products_id=179

Sports - http://www.vwspares....roducts_id=1452

I expect I would need the sports top mount, but haven't heard of people talking about them. Only replacing the top mounts and bearings for new ones whilst swapping to coilovers.

What top mounts have other people used with coilovers?

Thanks, Mike

Although i didn't replace the rear bumpstops or top mounts.... I have also ordered the rear (bigger) front wishbone bush also as my mate (also doubles as me mechanic) reckons that one will make a bigger difference than just the smaller front wishbone bush (anyone confirm this?!?!?)
