Love the wheels, can't wait for my Race Blue Blackline now. I'm toying with having a black front grill for mine. As it's out of warranty possibly some Eibach springs to drop the ride height a bit and Porsche brakes behind those bad boys would look immense.

Get rid of some arch gap and that would look very mean.

Get the genuine fitted rear window blinds, they'll look much better/neater then those aftermarket sucker types.

They also make the car look as though it's got tinted glass too!

Yeah i no but at £80 a pop I'm thinking of having the glass done

Very nice, the wheels look awesome. Looking at your car, I'm so please I ordered my Blackline in Race Blue.

I went with Dal to pick his car up, we both took a second look, as it was so different! Really impressed! I'm taking my alloys to the same company, the finish is first class! If your interested, and live in the Kent area check them out, www.rimtecrefurbs.co.uk

I would put the pictures I took on, but..... My iPad wont let me, nor my phone on taptalk? Any ideas why?

Believe it or not I have wanted to get the wheels powder coated black for some time, even before I see the blackline,

I don't know if everyone is the same as me but I love my octavia and I just keep looking for little things to change . It sounds silly but as I have changed a few things it really feels like I'm driving a new car,If your blackline is your first SkodaI don't think you will be disopointed !

looks good.

first thing i did on my early FL car was get rid of the silver wheels (in fact, this was actually done before the dealer did the pdi..!)

my dealer thought i was mad - fast foward two years and its now a factory option.. :wonder:

I like this^ Mines white and i really fancy darker alloys. Yours is obvioulsy lowered too and i love the wing mirrors. We have other priorities at the moment, nappies, so mine wont be looking like yours any time soon but this is how i would have mine given the chance.

cheers.

the wheels aren't actually black, just a dark graphite colour. yes it's lowered, in that pic it was about -45mm which was a little too low to be practical (fine if just me in the car but too low when you filled up the boot and had a bunch of passengers) - its a little less-low now.

btw this IS my kiddie-wagon. :)

I had a mk5 golf before I got the octavia, I got it coz we were having our first child, from the very first time I drove it I loved it ,so as you can imagine with a little one I can only do things as and when, but unfortunately someone hit the front bumper after 2weeks of having it so getting that sprayed first and save the penny's .
