confused with ride height and coilovers

Featured Replies

It's such an arse to get them level, the front arch look taller.

Do I adjust the coilovers so they are are all the same height from the top of the tyre to the bottom of the arch?

That would mean the rears look lower then the fronts, or do i make the fronts lower than rears?

Want as best handling as I can without hitting speed bumps.

Cheers

Handles like hell!! <img src='http://www.briskoda.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Only slightly though, back is about 10-15 mm off its lowest and the front I'm not sure sorry maby about half way :/

The front arches are taller.which gives the illusion that the back is lower. .. Same on most cars. . Adjust the sus till the sill is level with the ground.all the way across. .

I done mine so the sill is level and the back looks loads lower than the front but its 100% level.

Yeah, spoke to a specialist you want the nose down. Measure from bottom of arch to the bottom of the Centre badge.

Could measure centre of wheel cap to centre of arch for front and back for a standard car and use the percentage difference as a guide.
