Different 1.4TSi air intake and exhaust

Featured Replies

Yea its just turbo'd mate so airbox can just connect to turbo instead of also having to feed the supercharger

A bit different in being a Turbo charged engine & not Twin charger & producing 60 bhp less than the Twin Charger.

In what way do you think the Intake & Exhaust are better, or look better?

I stumbled across this photo from here http://www.autocar.c...n-passat-14-tsi

This air intake and exhaust looks better than what is installed in Fabia vRS... Mind you, this is 160bhp motor according to the article.

Aint it the 120bhp version??

That is 160bhp form Passat. I didn't read the article correctly and assumed it was a twin charged as well but in a less powerful tune :wall: :wall:

What a plonker!

@george,

I though it to be better as the air intake is much further away from the cat and the turbo.

Nice to make such a tit of mysefl lol

Well its still got rubbish air feed from front i would think, its the only thing that lets it down. The standard setup is good few guys still run it with stage 2 etc.

With the after market inductions its problems with trying to get cold air flow again many use either thebpoor flow from the front or put rhe feed pipe between battery and arch and feed down to near drl,

For a drag i even removed drl and fed the airfilter lyk that
