Hi all can this be reset or does it need to be plugged in ? Thanks in advance ????

Assuming you mean the service spanner indicator?

If so then yes it can be reset.

Turn off ignition, press and hold in trip reset stalk thing that comes out of instrument binnacle, turn on ignition, keeping stalk thing pressed in, hold for a number of seconds and then you will see it reset and spanner sign gone.....

Give me a shout if unsure or if this not clear enough.

Yep, and it even tells you that (how to do it) in the owners handbook

If that fails, then you are right, you need someone to plug the car into a computer.
