Removing exterior door handles confusion with torx - help

Featured Replies

Guys,

Followed the guide on here and when looking at the passenger side door handle outer little black caps, i cannot for the life of me see the torx nut in the top hole when i take the cap off, i can see the torx nut in the bottom hole.

Also the rear door handles dont even have two caps?

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Cheers

Figured it out, but now to find a long enough took anyone any ideas?

Make sure it's a magnetic torx screw set as the screw will drop in the door if you are not careful!! (As i can testify!!!)

I never wound mine out far enough for the screw to come out. If I felt like it was getting loose I would screw it back in half a turn :)

Just make sure that Bowden cable goes back in the right place!
