Fitted some polybush console bushes, very good quality very impressed, my old ones weren't too bad but would have probably been advised when mots due next month so thought I'd change them, no increased vibes or anything, had some old consoles I cleaned up so had these already fitted in so was just a case of unbolting and putting these on

Did you have to remove the lower arms to fit these? When i had my 4 wheel alignment done i was shown the movement in the standard bush, quite fancy doing this mod on mine if it improves steering feel etc.

Nope can be done in situ, there's enough movement in the arm to pull the bush down and slide it off, needs a bit of wd on it as they sometimes stick on, should improve feel and be abit more stable cornering, damn site cheaper then the anti lift kits,

An update on the bushes now I've done a few miles, does make the front end feel more solid, I have the dogbone insert too but traction when pulling away seems to have improved a little too, there's a noticeable difference when going up and down speedbumps not a harsh feeling but more of a solid one,

Decided to see what the old bonnet grill looked like with the superskoda bottom grill, I think I prefer it to the complete honeycomb front, remind me of the fl front end with honeycomb lower grill and slatted bonnet grill, thoughts?

Really not a fan of the honeycomb grills but it does look better with only the bottom one fitted. But at the same time kinda looks a little odd!

I agree does look better that's how the new ones are with honeycomb at the bottom and slats for the bonnet grill as standard

that does look smart! better than standard but not OTT :)

Like the combination Trev. Plus the fact you can open the bonnet properly with the std slat grille :)

How much were the Polybush bushes? Bushes are still on my to-do list.

Got some console and front ARB polybushes my self over 2 months ago not got them fitted yet lol, along with rear brake pads, oil and filter, air filter and gearbox oil!

Grill looks great man :)

They retail about £54 so really good value, easy if you have them already pressed in to mounts then it's just three bolts out and in
