Having owned my vRS for just about 5 weeks I already have a few build issues, which are disappointing as my scout had none. To date I have

- a tarnished chrome sill protector

- a clicking (relay type) noise from the centre heating vents????

- Mdi that has a mind of its own!

And to cap it off I discovered today that my offside headlamp is got condensation inside it grrrrrrrr!

Has anyone else had any build issues with theirs? The dealership are aware and the car is going in but c'mon too much for a new car surely

Apart from that the vRS and DSG are a sweet combo

Only paint on the rear bumper.... Maybe 3 spray job will be lucky?

Shame you have issues! Stick with it, and ensure the stealer looks after you!

DSG and vRS is indeed a great combo!

They are only minor niggles the scuff plate and headlight can be swapped out under warranty in minutes.

I wonder if the clicking and MDI are linked?

What exactly is the issue with the MDI?

You might think "minor" but when you have spent your hard earned on a car to find it having issues especially within 5 weeks i hardly call them "minor"

Dont start me on build issues.

I have mine going for repair for rust.... yes RUST on a door sill no accident damage or break in the clearcoat or paint, again Skoda dont want to know

Yeah they are only minor it's just disappointing after my scout being so good, the dealership are aware and going to get them sorted. The Mdi seems to play music but won't let me scroll the folders/lists on the devices so they are going to have a look, the clicking is a weird one!

Its the most reliable car Ive ever owned

All my vrs's have had a faint clicking and turns out its the CD player and nothing can be done :-(

The clicking noise is normal I have has two Octy's. I think they are flap actuators on the CC
