Been down to dealer tonight to view the recent arrival.

SE+Octavia.

On both wings in front of doors are silver "family" stickers.

Asked "what are these" only to be told "Dont know, can leave them on if you want." ??

Any ideas, has anyone else had these transfers/stickers.

car is still in delivery state ie white panels sheets etc.

Octi parked in front of mine same colour and state of delivery, NO "family stickers

Family stickers?

Wtf? Why would anyone want that on their car

Thats interesting, and a bit worrying, I am going to have to ask some "when was this built" questions I think.

definately better not be on the log book as a SE+ "family".dealer specials were always a kiss of death to future value.

anyone know how to check engine spec etc.

Its the hatch version, same length as the estate anyway, I do not need the extra load height just 6 ft of length.

What engine in the SE+ ?

2.0 cr 140

Are you sure it doesn't come complete with a couple of kids,

I think you can choose which variety you want, Boy's or Girls or one of each

Skoda, they think of everything

I would rather have a boxter with "mid life crisis" stickers on the front wings.

"Familiy" LOL whoever is in their marketing department should get shot. A lot of us have to buy a sensible family car as it meets our needs at that moment in life but at least i got one with "VRS" on it. Shows i havent totally given up just yet and ther eis still some life left in the old dog.

I would say it is the European version of the se+, but in the uk it's called something different and the badges are removed at pdi.

Isn't that only on the estate?

It mentions black roof rails.

Perhaps the chap on that part of the assembly line is a bit broody?

Spot on phs, :hi:

Ok, Gospel according to Saint Laurent,

All Octavia's are known as "family"car in the homeland.

Stickers/badges should have been removed at port of departure.

Confirmation of the spec of my vehicle is being sent to me.

cheers for everyones input

Make sure that you get the free gift (as noted on the link):

"As a token of our appreciation for choosing a Škoda Family car, we would like to give you a practical gift,

a spacious bag that is ideal for storing things in the boot of a car or for everyday use.

Depending on your interior colour, you can choose the luggage compartment bag in black or blue. "

:rofl::giggle::angel:

Just out of interest, did you buy your Octavia from Palmers in Watford / Croxley?

  • Author

Sorry for delayed reply been a bit preoccupied, yes Palmers is my dealer of choice we have purchased several vehicles from this dealer and so far no reasons to go anywhere else.

:giggle: guess what we found in the boot, " free family bag"

I want to upload an image, but I cant remember how, I will post some when I figure it out
