wheel spacers?

Featured Replies

Hi,

i like the vrs alloys so will be keeping them but was wondering what peoples thoughts were??

I want to make them stick out a wee bit more to give a better stance?

Thanks

i have 20mm rear and 15mm up front :)

I will be running 20mm rear and 15mm front after Saturday.

I have 15mm on the rear ATM and its just not enough

As above, 20mm rear and around 12mm/15mm up front is usally spot on.

Do the wheels catch in the arches? I'm pretty low on coilovers and was thinking of the same setup.

There is slight buffing on the arch liner with a full load.

195 width tyres would resolve this!

On the same point I'm looking at spacers to make the 17" octavia spiders sit better in the arches. anyone found a sweet spot for these?

ive got standard vrs alloys fitted with 25mm rear :) looks **** on and no rubbing at all with 215/40/16 tyres fitted

Get the spacers from JJC Race and Rally mate

They are about £45 posted for each set

Has anyone got pics for the as said spacers?

what do you do about the locking wheel nut with 15mm bolt through spacers on the front?

I've got extended bolts for mine

I already have 20mm bolt on ones for the rear. So, I'm weighing up whether it is worth buying a set of extended locking bolts only to use two of them or waiting out for a set of 15mm bolt on spacers and not having to worry about different bolts.

you will likely need to shorten the oem wheel bolts with 15mm bolt on spacers as they will go through the spacer and bottom out on the hub before the wheel is tight.

To be honest mate if they want your wheels then they will have them off locking nuts or not. I have some extended bolts for mine but some bolt on 20mm rear spacers came up cheap so I've gone for those. 2 bolts aren't being used now either.
