I've noticed most people go for the twin exhaust, can you get just a single exhaust about 3" or so?

From a custom exhaust place yeah, you can have pretty much what you like. Although many "named" exhaust manufacturers, such as milltek only offer a twin 3" tip.

However, on Piper's website, they offer oval tips aswell as twins. Think Jetex do one similar to std.

i've got the jetex with single tailpipe. looks like the original, except single outlet inside of twin inside.

I've got twin but really wish I'd gone for an oval type one tbh!
