Blackline. Badge

Featured Replies

What about getting the word 'octavia' painted black.

Would be subtle

I agree with John if you feel you need to. De-badge for me

I'm not sure I get the 'sheep' comment, the car is unmistakably an Octavia - badge or no badge, and unless you've also removed the big Skoda roundel I'm guessing most will recognise you as driving a common car.

I removed my badges.

And replaced them with the new ones!

Baaaa!

Nice and clean! was there any point in debadging it when you left the big black and yellow one underneath telling everyone what it is anyway? :giggle:

Yea I wouldn't. Blackline is simply a bit of marketing to clear some stock. And anyway, I thought the black wheels would be the clue...

The wheels are an option which can be added to any VRS so don't define it as such.

As far as I'm aware anyone could have specced a car to be the same as te blackline if they'd wished - it was just a special edition at a discount really.

Ironically many of the owners of the actual LE took their 'limited edition' badges off (although part of that is because the original badges started losing letter)

Haha, I never debadged it, I rebadged it :giggle:

The number plate came with the car, it's gone now as I put my own plate on it.

^ This. Though I have left my third one on (received during first year) even though it is now missing all of the i's. It's an excuse tell the FSH joke.

I debadged mine as the wax was getting stuck into the badge and it did my head in removing it with cotton buds every 2-3 weeks.

I dont think de-badging is going to make me drive lick a ****.
