I think you'll find the C2 was 2 tenths slower than the Mini Cooper s...?

Im surprised most by the StreetKa - wolf in sheeps clothing! :)

oh yeah, you're right! (damn! lol..) wonder why they put it above in the rankings? must have been a mistake.......

I find it funny about the test Tiff Nedell did with the Clio 182 against the CTR.

For a start one is a supermini and thefore should be up against it's closest rival the Peugeot GTi 180 and the other is a hot hatch therefore should be against a LCR or new Golf GTi.

Secondly, the Clio 182 they tested wasnt the 182 cup, it was a 182 with Cup options weighing in at more than 20 kg more and has a different suspension setup.

Thirdly for 14k as Tiff Nedell put it (11.5k on Motorpoint) you can get a 182 with all Cup options (xenons, cruise, climate, auto lights/wipers etc, esp), and the official 182 Cup you can get for 10k already (recaro interior and still has A/C). Whereas the CTR costs 16k, maybe you could get it for 14.5-15k at a push and to my knowledge doesnt even have A/C fitted as standard.

Even after all of the above have been taken into account the Clio only went around the track with some terrible driving IMO 2 tenths of a second slower, would you spend 4k more for 2 tenths?

Oh and my final point, Top Gear with stig tested the 182 with cup options (not 182 cup) 2 seconds faster than the revised CTR.

Rant over...

Edit: be interesting to put the on the road prices against em too! :D

Interesting list! Lotus and Vauxhall VX nearly identical with two totally different powerplants.

Not much difference really between a lot of these cars (and a bike I see!)

Think the 'skoda vRS 'should have a disclaimer saying 'not the octy which would be approx 55.9' :D

Good on the CTR as well.Impressive :)
