I agree with Lofty. Looking at the number of posts the OP has made on here, I would suspect he is fairly unfamiliar with how busy Shark are along with how very well regarded they are on here.

This isn't a dig at the OP, but to say you emailed a couple of times but only actually called once is hardly trying to get in touch with them for two years. Nor is it a sufficient reason to make a post like this on a public forum, as it could easily be misunderstood by anyone taking a quick glance.

For what its worth, I've been a customer at Shark for years now, spanning all three premises, and have yet to be disappointed with the services they have provided for me.

OP is perfectly entitled to post his experience and has done so in a pretty even handed way. If nothing else it has given shark a good opportunity to respond and show they are committed to good customer service along with some sound testimonials. If anyone was reading the title and even remotely interested in a map they would undoubtedly be at least interested enough to read the thread... I'm not even after a map and I read it...

This was not a dig at shark i want to make that very clear! I am very happy with my map on my car didn't mean to upset the sensitive members on this forum i was just expressing my personal experience with a minor aspect. Anyone reading this with any brains will see how much support and positive feed back has been given in defence of shark. The whole reason i chose a shark map in the first place was because i had heard nothing but good stuff about them. so thats why yes i was disappointed wen they never got back in touch with me obviously this matter has been sorted now I'm a director of my own business and i value the negative feedback as much as the positive. Again I'm sorry if i upset some members on this open forum

When in i saw the title of the thread "REMAP HELP!" in capitals, it implied to me that the thread was going to be a remap gone wrong, horror story. "Disappointed with Shark" implied to me that they had left you up sh i t s creek. That's how it reads to me anyway.....

You've made them sound like some sort of "rogue traders" that go round conning old ladies out of their life savings for a remap and then disappear! The post also implies you've been trying day in day out to get some sort of response for 2 years! and your near ready to set Ann Robinson on them! In reality you called them once, and emailed twice..... The call could easily have just been a forgotten to get back to you, the emails, well, maybe they never even got them? spam filters can be right a-holes etc....

Obviously the further you read into the thread, all becomes clear! but to someone just skipping through posts here the damage might already be done. Your thread though, feel free to damage good names wherever you see fit.

Unfortunately, this is the internet, just because you know how you intended the post to be read, from the way it is written, people WILL see it differently and come to their own conclusions.

I did read it..... But some might not get that far, or, may have seen his first post and might never even return to the thread, so may miss his follow up posts...... All they see is ""REMAP HELP!" "Shark are a bunch of c n t's + one vowel....." That is what i am pointing out, is it that hard to see?

If someone went around telling my key demographic "my window cleaner is a disappointment", id lose work!!!!!! Even if all they meant was i didnt come back and collect one night when i said i would......... Damage done.

Thing is though that people are quick to shout out and say a bad thing but not when they are happy!

Sure people say they are happy but you never see a thread titled along the lines off 'just been shark'd - soooo happy'

The edit button is there for a reason. It's perfectly possible for the OP to update his FIRST post explaining that all has now been remedied and set straight.

I find it very frustrating that your all saying this that and the other about the thread the OP has done and sharks reputation.

Yet in another thread on here nobody is sticking up for the Derv Doctors reputation are they....

Shark have even admitted that their downfall was communications, of which they have now rectified.

FYI I have a shark map of which I'm very pleased with & have recommended them to many people!

BINGO!!! at last we are all on the same page!

Nobody suggested he change the title to hide anything, but currently the title it does not reflect what the thread is actually about! and is instead misleading, for some reason you have been defending that stance, until now...... I'm glad we are all on the same page though now, can somebody just tell Stuart though too!

Then read again! But i sense a slow realisation creeping in which is good. We are a reasonable bunch and like to keep things on an even playing field, if something is unfair, it is pointed out, if contested, its explained. Some dont like the explanation but if 100 people think one thing and 2 think another thing USUALLY the 2 are in the wrong.

Well my post was not meant in any way to come across like i was laying into you... I can't speak for the others though, they're a vicious bunch so who knows....... I Jest.... I was just trying to highlight how thread title and first post looks to others.
