Mud flaps for Fabia TSI?

Featured Replies

Im trying to find mud flaps for my new Skoda Fabia TSI but i dont seem to find any.

Ive looked through the Skoda Fabia accesories brochure but i could not find anything..

Is there any Skoda mud flaps or do i have to get them from any other maker? Where would i get them from then?

Hi Snowman, I got my mudflaps from the dealers (Mitchells Ellesmere Port) cost about £40 -ish. James 1 from the forum fitted them for me from what I can remember they where fixed on with three screws and took about 10mins to do all 4. I hope this helps Ron.

Do you know if they are made by Skoda or other company?

Ah okey thanks.

Do you have a part number for the mudflaps?

No Snowman, I didn't need the part number I just asked the dealer and he got them when I picked up my motor.

No..Just ring your dealer parts department

It's amazing what the Search feature provides in this forum:

Well i did search but i only found information about mud flaps for the vRS..

It's the same thing UNLESS you got a Monte Carlo.

What about aftermarket ones?> Not cheesey-chavvy OTT ones of course!

I have aftermarket ones on mine , the keep the hatch much cleaner but are a lot smaller than the stock ones

£15 posted on ebay all the way from China

Dealers fitted mine FOC, I only asked for prices so they were on the car when I picked it up, a nice gesture. They look fab on the car, finishes it of. Unlike the Mk1 Vrs there was never any to fit.

These are OEM ones on a VRS but same for S/SE/ELEGANCE

From the pics above I really can't decide if I prefer the smaller aftermarket ones or the longer OEM ones.

Has anybody got any more pics so that I can finally make a firm decision?? ;-)

Thanks

Are you able to share a link if they are still selling on Ebay?

Thanks for that, I think I am going to go for OEM ones as they look a good size but not too big.

Is there any risk of them getting caught on kerbs and pulled off, hard to tell from picture if they are flexible or how much clearance.

Cheers

A

Yo dude any mudflaps can get caught on kerbs it depends on the common sence of the driver and also the height of the kerb... these oem mudflaps are not flexible at all once fitted so air on the side of caution with kerbs.

I didnt realise the oem style stick out soo much.

I have ebay ones above and their doing their job, been on about a year so far and no problems
