Roomster Bicolour....

Featured Replies

That's one hell of a colour scheme

Totally hides the 'ugly duckling' looks of the Roomster :)

Not so taken with the white one but the blue looks nice and that red one is gorgeous.. if i upgrade it will definitely be to that one

This is new to me. Some of the colour options look very nice.

LOL! Showed the pictures to SWMBO'd, her reaction? 'Well, alright if you like that sort of thing.'

Some hard work in the near future as I am trying to convince her that we need to change the Roomster for a Yeti (probably white).

I'm sure the colour scheme will appeal to many.

I'm one of the few who actually like the "ugly duckling" looks of the Roomster.

But then I'm just a BOF :giggle:

Interesting, I chose anthracite grey because I liked the darker colour with the sunset dark glass option.

These colour schemes put the dark at the top where the glass is. Makes me wonder if it is for a similar reason.

Needs lowering. See below.

Does anybody tried plasti dip on his car in order to "bicolour" it? Just curious after watching some videos on youtube.

No, but ideas are now whirling around inside my head, not that there's much else in there...

I had seen this in a booklet sent to me by Skoda Czech Republic, the bi-coloured black front end striping was illustrated as two versions

Dynamic part 5J7071733 and Trendy 5J7071733A. I was interested in possibly applying these to my Roomster and emailed

Skoda UK to ask about their availability in the UK. - I did not get a reply. Does anyone know if these can be obtained and the cost of same.

The main Skoda accessories cat from Skoda-Auto has all sorts of bits which we don't see in the Skoda-uk cats'............

I posted a picture of the white/black combo on here a while back............

In Italy all this kind of 'visual tuning' (stickers, spoilers, plastic extensions) is quite always associated with very bad, vulgar and juvenile taste ; Italians usually avoid it like the plague :giggle:

However, I am not fully sharing that national 'social status feeling' towards cars and I also think you cannot take a car like the roomy too seriously!

Well, at the end I'd take the white&black rooooomy...

Wouldn't they have a difference of attitude between factory-spec options and aftermarket mods?

Thinking now of the 500 Abarth with its red stripes.

I also have fond memories of my aunt's Autobianchi 112 Abarth. :drunk: That one had vinyl stripes and a massive "abarth" plastered on the rear between the taillights..

Yeah, but that's the maximum allowed madness...if you're under 30 :giggle:

Ah, the 112 Abarth, wonderful toy.
