How long should a garage take to change a EGR?

Also, what cost are the EGR's themselves?

I can take my time and have mine off, cleaned and back on in under an hour and a half. That is taking my time and having several cups of tea.

i bought a used one from ebay for £20 as new ones were £100+

changed in about half an hour

I had mine stripped and cleaned last week - power came back up and so did the mpg... lasted 2 days and then worse. Car's in the garage now, probably having a new one fitted

Mine aswell have an egr delete kit on instead :p

Just do it and get a delete well worth it

And if you go to a tuner to get it mapped out they should charge too much it's extremely waxy I mapped mine out myself

Well, it's back - all good again. £53 for the EGR and then 1 hours labour - £100 all-in
