Has anybody gone from Xenons back to Halogen?

in my previous car (astra) - i tried 6000k, 5000 & 4300k hids (D2S).

the best was the 4300k. both practicality & looks. 6000k was next to useless in the night & pointless in the wet.

Interesting as I've got 6000k in the Octy as a retrofit and haven't found that at all... they have been infinitely better than halogens at night and again much better int he wet???
