Rob! You've just given me a cracking idea! While I was away over the weekend, I took my monitor/PC power connector and hid it. There was evidence of plug fiddling upon my return! tee hee. :D

What can I repossess then...? Her hi-fi is worth a bit of money, and is a nice little Kenwood micro system...hmmmm.

I'll give you a quid for that... :D

All I need is a stack of blank CD-R's, Rob. :D

Best results with CDR,s and CDRW,s is to burn them as slow as you can. All this burn as fast as you can is cobblers. You should burn your disks as slow as the burner will allow. The only trouble I have is that my multi changer wont play the last 2 tracks on any of my burned disks, which are 99 min disks, all burnt at 8x on a Liteon 24x10x12. (and this I think is due to the disk size being 99min as 80 min disks are fine)

Cheers

Andy

Always buy and copy for car, never had any problems with single OE Skoda player CD in Octavia SLX , sony unit in Felicia and the 6 disk units in RS and Superb.

I use a HP writer with HP writer S/W, perhaps it worth trying someone elses burnt CD to test, PM me if you want neme to send a test CD.

I just had my standard-issue 6-changer replaced under warranty - it froze, wouldn't play and wouldn't give me back the disks. When the dealer fetched them out, they told me that I should not put CD-R's in (all 6 were) - and that using them invalidates the warranty !

That sounds like a BIG line - I read the books of words and found no mention. Anyone else come accross this one ?

Anyone else have problems with the 6-changer freezing up ?
