Featured Replies

I dont really understand it but would like to do it, is it just a set of different bulbs people use for the front and rear indicators? If so could anyone direct me where to buy them? Really dont have a clue haha :)

I've just done mine. My local bulb specialist, Macsen Lamps in Manchester, do them for £5. So I'd try your local place before you jump on eBay. For the extra 25p or whatever you can get them same day. You also help out your local businesses.

Ah nice one mate :)

A few years ago I bought some Philips Silver bulbs.

You've been de-tango'd

I'm sure I read on one car forum that Silvertec and cheap eBay indicators can be very poor and could even be called dangerous. I read that they are not that bright when flashing and can't be seen clearly in bright sunshine.

However in the last five years Silvertec may have improved their design, to be much brighter. I still wouldn't trust unknown bulbs from fleBay though.

I have Philips Silver Vision ones - they seem incredibly bright - coming up to road signs the orange is reflected strongly.
