Picking my car up in 10m been getting JOM coilovers fitted for 2 days. Just spoke to the garage and apparently they couldnt get it to go lower than 30mm at the front? They fitted mondeo droplinks etc and have fought on for hours but no luck apparently.. any ideas?

Did they give any more info? Could they not wind the coil beds down?

PS, 2 days to fit coilovers, thats a slow garage!

Mate, if they charge you anymore than £200 to fit them go nuts!

Most DIY'ers can fit them in under a day, on the drive, with limited tools! As Trev said, be careful of what they are charging you for when you collect.

Hes a nice guy so it wont be a huge charge, but he's fearing they have sent the wrong ones? They should go -75mm at the front but simply wont go anywhere more than 30mm :S i need to send pictures to the supplier and they will contact the manufacturers apparently, but if i need to go back into the garage surely they should pay for the extra labour since they may have supplied the wrong coilovers?

jom coilovers when even down at there lowest setting dont look low at the front so i removed my helpers on both mines and my missis polo should take 2 hours max to fit coilovers even for someone with limited experience

2 days is a joke tbh heres a pic off mines on jom coilovers right down as far as they go at front and back o adjusters or helpers in

this was 1st day i put them on have settled alot more now

Looks like this, he said they are right down on the front without the helpers out, do inneed the helpers out to get to the full 75mm?

Defo front lower, a bit wheely looking

Reverse rake is ****** up but will be sweet with helpers out, that's deffo down more than 30mm on the front

my fronts go lower than that with the helpers in and im running joms fitted them myself in about 2 hours but helpers will be coming out soon just to get that little bit lower
