No doubt you all have the same problem if you have kids my seats are getting minging all the time n fee up with cleaning...

leather seats would be the fabia ones which are like finding gold in your back garden unless you get yours re trimmed which is a costly thing. Try looking for polo seats or try and find fabia "sport" which are the same just black with cream/white stitching (Y)

Seats from a Polo 9N, 9N3 or Seat Ibiza 6L IIRC are a straight swap. Not sure if any are leather from those though.

No, they need work. Not a huge amount but not a straight fit.

No they require the subframes modifying.

Only seats from cars with the same floorpan will go straight in, as said above, Fabia, Ibiza 6L or Polo 9N/9N3

It does seem that fabias are quite expensive to modify .. Not that I'm looking to cut corners but with other vags there's a lot of manufacturers for parts and seats like Porsches thatl go into vdubs etc . But fabias don't seem to have that big of options in terms of parts etc

Going to try some golf mk3 colour concept leather see how far off it is for lining up then thatl give me an idea if no ones done it yet on here will post up my findings

If i recall. The front seat mountings are alot different. As i think they have a large centre rail at the front? Could be wrong
