How to remove boot lining to get to the badge?

Featured Replies

As the title states really, i wanna change the rear badge but i dunno how to get to it, advice please! :)

It's stuck on with double sided tape, the roundel will have a couple of locating pins. You'll be able to cut it off with a bit of string or packing tape.

No need to strip the boot lining down.

Perfectly do-able without resorting to that but it will leave holes as Fordfan says.

So filling and smoothing or a different badge is needed.

too late now but I heard strong fishing line. Get it betwixt the badge and boot and pull down.

As said, you don't need to do this but I did. The part you mention just pulls off. It's held on by metal clips and they won't break.

I warmed up my front one with a heat gun and then cut it off with some dental floss.
