Bluetooth Fitted - minor VCDS coding query

IMT

Recommended Posts

It took me 3 hours (some bits were extremely easy whilst others had me baffled for a while) but at last I have Bluetooth installed, all works fine - Maxidot showed the phone options even without any coding can make/receive calls/phonebook displays (all with an iPhone I hasten to add).

Initially I had a plethora of fault codes but after clearing these and having a run out all left bar 2 (suspect it was having the battery disconnected).

One was that the CAN Gateway had not been correctly coded - sorted by adding Module 77 to the installed list, the other that I can't get to go away is the below:

Address 77: Telephone (J412) Labels: 7P6-035-730.clb

Part No SW: 7P6 035 730 J HW: 7P6 035 730 J

Component: TELEFON H15 3200

Revision: 1B001001 Serial number: 00007663009948

Coding: 0A01000000010101

Shop #: WSC 00028 028 00022

ASAM Dataset: EV_UHVNA 002720

ROD: EV_UHVNA_SK35.rod

VCID: 397991B8B88BA3D026B

1 Fault Found:

9458195 - Control Module for Cellular Telephone

B1052 13 [009] - Open Circuit

Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear

Freeze Frame:

Fault Status: 00000001

Fault Priority: 4

Fault Frequency: 1

Reset counter: 11

Mileage: 277 km

Date: 2000.14.26

Time: 14:50:04

Any ideas?

PS my CAN Gateway now seems to make a bit of a noise when being accessed, I doubt this is normal but is it or do I need to see what seems to have disturbed it?

Don't worry about the gateway, i'm sure it is ok

Change the coding on the bluetooth

0A01000000010110

try that to see if it clears the fault

Superstar, seems to have cleared it. One IMT beer token is yours!

Does anyone with this get song names in the bolero? I have all working but no song names from my iphone.

Cannot get the adapter to fit in the head unit area and close so will have to cut and put push connectors on.

The adaptor has to go to the left of the venting.

I had song titles from my iPhone on my unit. But since then with android. Nexus 4 and s4 I just get BT audio on screen.
