20 year old guy I know has just bought a mk1 Fabia vrs se, 40k miles and standard. After seeing what he's done to his last 3 cars (Vauxhalls) it's going to bring tears to my eyes thinking about what a mess he'll turn it into :'( Almost tempted to offer him a deal for mines so at least an enthusiast will own it.

I sold it for a number of reasons, the main one being the sudden price drop and the other 'young lads' driving them around my area. Bad times.

I can't ever imagine selling my fabia because some other goons have one. I drive a car because I like it, not what someone else does/thinks.

I'm glad I stepped up to a Fabia, I used to be really into my FIestas then they became affordable to chavs and then every tom, **** and harry was driving one and making them look a state so sold that on!

Don't see to many Fabias around here. Some people do regard any modified car as chavvy etc though!

+1, had my 1.9TDi ele spec hatch for almost 3 years now, the fella aint let me down once (fingers crossed). The only thing I'm torn between is; do I sell him now at 107K, or get an estate version, same spec with less mileage? I'll keep him I reckon.

I wouldn't have got rid of my fez but I needed I diesel for work needed to grow up abit I'm glad all the chavs by me buy golfs and a3s because insurance is soo bad in my postcode your lucky to have anything more than a 1.2 at 21... But I'm Noooo chav.

I had a mk2 punto before the fabia, it was a sporting though, in yellow. Modified in pretty much every way... Now my fabia is practically standard, just a black grille and hid. I plan on keeping it that way too!

I'm 27 now though, so maybe just too old for the rock hard ride of coilovers.

If I want that I have a drive in my girlfriend's punto... Haha
