Hi All

looking for some advisem, i purchased my Skoda Fabia in June this year its a 2008 model 1.2

recently the Exhaust Inspection Light has appeared on the dash board when this has came on i dont lose any performance in the car as indicated by other Fabia owners.

this light came on a couple of months ago and after a couple of days went off and never came back on until last night.

any suggestions? is this a common computer system fault or could their be actually something wrong with the Exhaust system?

any help would be appreciated.

This happened to me on sat night, I took the car to the garage today and they said its most likely a faulty sensor. Its going in on friday to be fixed and im told its ok to drive in the meantime

Sounds like the temp sensor is gone, it happened to me in my last Fabia.

It looks like all i have done is reset the computer

i held the mileage reset button in for 30 secounds then turned the car over held in for a further 30 secounds and it went off and has not come back on.

i have a feeling this may come back on again in the future tho
