FK coilovers are

Featured Replies

I uave the fk coilovers yeah il admit they are a tad bouncy but i have them wound right down with rear helpers out (so my own problem) but when they wernt right down there was nothing wrong with them held the road nicely wasnt bumpy ride (have a lil 1 that can fall asleep in the back going over the moors full chat) so they cant be that bad but at the end off the day what do u all want for £200 budget coilovers!!!

I've got fk's, which I hated after about 300 miles. I've since grown used to them (I did have a big soft old Audi before) and I find it's completely fine on most roads. If there's a medium sized bump on a corner I dare not take it too quick, as I have understeered a bit as a result

My highsports have arrived and to be fair they look well made and look good bits of kit to be fair, il post up my thoughts once they are on the car, won't be for a good while though I think. Get all of the crap weather out of the way for a start methinks.

They are bound to be an improvement over my Eibach springs. just some Cupra rear bumpstops to get now then.

did you get them from the fk sale?

DougieS yes I did bud.

Looking at where the OP lives, another member had issues on "fenland" roads with Eibachs. Lowering usually helps handling but if too bouncy/bumpy, the reduced bump travel can cause issues. ISTR it was Teflon Tom mentioned it.

For ultimate handling, you'd spend a grand or two on the components and spend time setting it up. Not the usual first option for a £5K supermini though.
