Hi what's the little pipe that connects to the air box lid on the fabia vrs and runs along the bulkhead? Is it a vacuum pipe? Someone snapped it on my air box last night and now I've got a hesitation at low revs,is this the cause?

I think thats the MAF sensor isnt it? And quite vital also, i may be wrong though

The maf sensor is the big pipe but at the side of that there's a really thin pipe that joins the air box lid. It doesn't suck when it's running or revved but didn't know if it created vacuum when connected to the air box

Thanks for your input anyway. I will connect it back tomorrow using some brake pipe but just wondered what it was

The N75, etc, are changeover valves. This pipe provides clean air to release the vacuum.

It shouldn't be blocked up.

There will be a hole in the air box on the clean side which must not be left open.

Is the bayonet fitting still in the hose?

How do I load a pic off my iPhone on here? Yeah the bayonet is still in the pipe it's snapped flushed on the air box. So with that not connected up to the air box that's why I'm getting the hesitation then? Will fix it tomorrow anyway
