The Inside of my Neptune Alloys has some sticky stuff still on the Inner surface where Balance weights have been fixed in the Past.

Whats the best stuff to get this Sticky residue from the alloys

Petrol or Label Remover.

The best I've used is surprisingly enough called ' Sticky Stuff Remover'. Comes in a yellow aerosol, readily available & cheap I believe. Still have a can in the garage & have used on many different applications. Earlier this year removed two stickers + residue from the pick up that had been in place + 12 years. No problem & never affects paintwork or any of the surfaces I've used it on.
